This next bit is probably superfluous but as I hope you’ll come to see I really prefer my elected officials to practice full disclosure. So…
None of this information represents any official position of the San Carlos School District, or of the San Carlos Board of Trustees.
That’s because individual trustees (usually the President) can only speak for the Board when the Board has authorized them to do so. Otherwise, whenever you hear a trustee speak you’re just hearing that one person’s viewpoint.

Lastly, while I’m trying to foster dialog about education in our community here, there really is no substitute for going to school board meetings and listening to the Board work. More importantly, while there you’ll also have the chance to share your thoughts and ideas with all five trustees, and the superintendent. Check the District website for the schedule of meetings.
A note to my fellow trustees: as you know, the Brown Act prohibits a quorum of us from discussing or developing policies affecting the district outside of a public meeting. Since I have no way of knowing how many of you may or may not come here, it’s best if you do not visit. Sorry about that, it’s nothing personal.
